Explore America’s heritage and history during your six-day stay in Washington, D.C. Start with a guided tour of the US Capital Building, followed by a city tour to see the sights along the National Mall. You will tour the Washington National Cathedral followed by your choice of adventure that could be a walking tour retracing the events that led up the Lincoln Assassination or enjoy the International Spy Museum. Take in a twilight tour of the Jefferson, Martin Luther King Jr., and Lincoln Memorials. You will also take a narrated tour at the Arlington National Cemetery and visit Old Town Alexandria and Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. Your last full day includes the White House Visitors Center and free time to visit one or more of the Smithsonian museums around the National Mall.
